Local Buying Tips

The first step in your home buying process should be to meet with a Loan Originator to be pre approved for a mortgage. This will let you know that you are financially able to purchase a home, as well as provide a pre approval letter to present with your offer. This is important because when you start looking, you may have to move quickly when you want to put an offer in. If you are prepared with a pre approval, you will be prepared to move forward.

You should know that all Licensed Realtors can show you any property in the Multiple Listing System. The best thing you can do is find a Realtor that you are comfortable with and who is ready to work hard for you. Stay loyal to that realtor and they should search for homes that meet your criteria, as well as be prepared to research homes that you may find.

Once you have your Pre Approval and a Realtor in place, you are ready to start your search for your new home.
